The choir at Christ Church sings at all Sunday services.
They also give a liturgical performance every Good Friday, and lead the music at the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at Christmas, in addition to special services on Palm Sunday and the First Sunday in Advent.
The choir comprises up to twelve men, and up to twelve boys who are given generous bursaries (currently £420 per annum, plus traveling expenses) to recompense them for their service to the church.
If you (or any boy aged between 8 and 13) might be interested in further information about the choir, please feel free to contact the choirmaster, Jonathan Price, on JDRPRICE@care4free.net. He is always pleased to hear from anyone interested in joining the choir, and will be happy to answer any detailed questions you may have.
